Lavender Mint Rosemary Yarrow // Medicinal Herb & Mushroom Soap

I created this soap as a natural alternative anti-microbial bar. I wanted to bring the powerful healing properties of chicken of the woods and yarrow to a soap bar, and here it is.

This soap was a complete labor of love. I hunted, dried, powdered, and infused wild mushrooms, sustainably harvested from forests in Pennsylvania. I harvested this batch of chicken completely with the thought of making soap.

Why mushrooms in soap?! Chicken of the woods is an edible mushroom known to inhibit staph bacteria, yeast, and other resistant bacteria. Yarrow is a natural analgesic and anti-inflammatory, and the properties of this herb make it ideal for use on minor cuts and burns, encouraging healing whilst relieving pain and inflammation. Somewhat conversely, Yarrow strengthens blood circulation and improves blood flow.* I scented this soap with essential oils of mint, lavender, and rosemary. The bar smells amazing, balanced between heaven and earth.

Level-Up makes soap with saponified oils of organic coconut, olive, and castor oil. Each bar is homemade and unique with natural ingredients that benefit your body and skin. You will receive a bar that has been cured for at least 4-6 weeks. This ensures that all the water has evaporated and leads to a harder bar of soap that will last longer. It will be shipped in recycled Kraft paper that is easily recyclable or an organic muslin bag.
