Goldenrod (Solidago canadenis, S. odora, S. vigaurea, and many others) is part of the Asteraceae (Daisy) family. The aerial part of the plant is used and is harvested late summer into early fall before the flowers are in full bloom.
Goldenrod has a history for use with the bladder and urinary system. The astringent and antiseptic qualities tighten and tone the urinary system and bladder making it useful for UTI infections. Its astringent property can also help with allergies and will calm runny eyes, runny nose, and sneezing that comes with late summer and early fall allergies. This is one of my favorite flowers and usually blooms right around my birthday at the end of the summer, the grand finale.
Level-Up & Ripple Goldenrod extract uses cultivated plants from my own backyard and sustainably sourced from other wild areas in the region. The plants are then soaked in organic cane alcohol (gluten-free) and pressed later.

TINCTURES
Tinctures are a liquid extract made by steeping fresh organic herbs in alcohol. Tinctures are the most concentrated form of herbal medicine.
Tinctures are best taken under the tongue where they directly enter the bloodstream. They are very strong and may be taken diluted in water, juice or tea. Avoid liquids for 10-15 minutes afterwards.
Check with your doctor to be sure the herbs do not interfere with your medications. Some herbs are not recommended during pregnancy.
