DUAL EXTRACT TINCTURES

Dual Extract Tinctures are a liquid extract made by steeping fresh mushrooms in alcohol. After about 6 weeks, the mushroom material is strained out, and the alcohol extract is set aside. The leftover mushrooms are boiled for hours with spring water until there's a small amount of a water extract left. The water extract is then combined with the alcohol and a small amount of fresh alcohol is added to top it off and make sure it's preserved. Tinctures are the most concentrated form of herbal medicine.

Tinctures are best taken under the tongue where they directly enter the bloodstream. They are very strong and may be taken diluted in water, juice or tea. Avoid liquids for 10-15 minutes afterward.
